First week back in London. Discuss.

Location: Starbucks, London Waterloo

My first week back in London. It feels like I've never left! I recall being in this very coffee shop at the end of my first week in London last year. I'll devote a blog post to nostalgia soon, my year anniversary is coming up!

So I've come back (earlier than expected mind you) to work on a children's show with the director of 'Andy and Mike's Tick Tock Time Machine' (my Edinburgh children's show). This performance is called 'How The Lion Became King of Tinga Tinga Land' and is aimed at a pre-school audience. It's a lovely show, featuring a cast of five actors (and an understudy/ASM). The company is a joy to work with. We're up against it - the rehearsal period is barely a fortnight long - but we're all working hard and getting on very well (there's a lot of laughter).

I'm really fortunate to be brought onto this at such short notice. I'm loving the work. We're touring the show around the UK which is very exciting and I'm looking forward to working on my first touring show.

In other news, Absent Theatre (the theatre company I run with Eleanor) is preparing for its next performance in NINE DAYS! Things are very busy for me right now.

Sometimes I get too tired to re-write stuff, so yeah, I'm sending you to another website. Do check it out.
