Measure for Measure

Location: 7:56 train from Crystal Palace to Clapham Junction.

One more day at ItNGL and then on to The Jack for one final viewing of Measure. The show continues until the 20th July (order tickets on the Jack website: www.brockleyjack.co.uk/) but tonight is my final night. Tomorrow I'm going to Buxton with Smooth Faced Gentlemen to do a week of shows for Titus Andronicus as Stage Manager.

I am very sad to say goodbye to Immersion Theatre, they have been a pleasure to work with from day one. James and Rochelle are a force to be reckoned with, and an amazing team to be included in. I am so proud to have worked in this play. Our reviews have been lovely. We have always believed that our production is strong, but the critic's back-up is a huge help when we're sharing this with a wider audience. Our audience numbers have been consistently healthy, which also feeds energy to the cast as they perform.

The cast have come so far from rehearsal, each and every one of them are intelligent, exciting, dangerous performers and I would jump at the chance to work with any of them again. Its always a pleasure to come in, watch the show and see them afterwards for a drink. I hope our paths cross again soon. Rachel, our stage manager, has been fantastic too. I knew her as an actress and friend before this production, she has been a great support in rehearsal and the show is safely in her hands now! She and Mark Webber have worked closely to ensure the smooth running of the show from rehearsal to get in to press night and beyond. I am forever grateful to Mark for his calming presence around the Jack in the first week.

To James, Rochelle, Greg, Adam, Rob, Clive, Brian, Jess, Linda, Georgina, Grace, Peter, Rachel, Mark and the team at The Jack, thank you so much for making this show such a wrench to leave. Have an amazing final week, I'm leaving London tomorrow, but my heart remains with you all in Vienna.

Amy x
