Old Rabbis in the Sky

Tomorrow is the first rehearsal for Old Rabbis in the Sky. Myself and my friend Eleanor have started a theatre company and this is our second play (really need to update on Lost/Faith/Art, standby on that one!)

I'm very excited and a bit nervous, but I'm often jittery just before beginning a new project. I can't wait to hear the cast read through Eleanor's piece, then I can begin interacting with what the actors bring to their roles. Then I don't feel so nervous!

Will post on Lost/Faith/Art very soon, need to upload some footage and photos to our Facebook page so will do a mass update this week. Its nice being too busy to promote my work, but it IS an important part of what I do.

In other news, Old Vic New Voices have just started following me on Twitter (@amyPgunn). I wonder why this creative organisation for upcoming directors is following me (I'm following them but I DO care what they have to say). My Twitter feed is a mix of directing work and tech work promotion, interaction with the comedians and friends I follow and random musings about the failings of the London transport system/excellent films I'm watching. A mix bag and not solely profound theatre tweets. But now I feel I should be upping my game if The Old Vic is following. Pressure!

I'm hoping they'll follow @AbsentTheatre as well. That is solely theatre and directing work.
